Our History

CVS Furniture is a family owned business first incorporated in 1984 under the entity Brass Beds Sleep Shop.   What was a 15 square foot office in downtown Chicago, grew to multiple Sleep Shops across the Chicagoland area.  By 1990, we were operating 3 Sleep Shops located in Downtown Chicago, Skokie IL and Northbrook IL.  In 1994, we decided to embark on a unique strategy to help keep prices low for our customers.  We closed our 3 Sleep Shops in order to minimize overhead expenses and sold our products through manufacture & distributor catalogs and online furniture exchanges.  We invited customers to review their furniture selection in the comfort of our home over tea and cookies.  This helped us build relationships with our customers for repeat business and referrals.  More importantly, it kept prices at absolute lows.  Where else can you get personal customer service, the best brands and the lowest prices.  As we’ve grown, we’ve opened a showroom of select furniture Wheeling, IL but our overhead remains low and our customer service hasn’t skipped a beat.
